Hematology Laboratory
In the Hematology Laboratory, with the help of modern analyzers, all routine tests for the diagnosis of diseases are carried out, such as:
- Haemolytic anemias – Haemoglobinopathy, e.g. β-Mediterranean Anemia, Sickle Cell Anemia, Cooley’s disease.
- Blood malignancies, e.g. leukemias.
- Coagulation disorders, e.g. hemophilia, thrombocytopenia, etc.
With the use of barcode codes, all samples are identified from the moment of sampling to the extraction of the results
